APPLY A DROPSHADOW TO ONLY A CERTAIN SELECTION

This is tutorial will show you how you can add a drop shadow to only a certain selection that you made on an image in photofiltre. So let's get started.

1.Open up photofiltre and select File>New -OR- you can select File>Open and select an image you already have.

2.Now select any selection shape.
[]

3.Make your selection on your image or canvas and right-click on the selection and select Duplicate.

4.You should now have a layer of that selection so now right-click on the LAYER SIDE BAR and select Options.

5.Now check Drop Shadow and set the settings to your satisfaction. (You can make the vertical and horizantal axis set both at 0 for a "glow" effect")

6.Merge the two layers and you're done!
Here's my result.

(You can fill in the white space with a different color before you merge the two layers so it doesn't look confusing.) :]

Enjoy.
